About our family

In April 1994, under the direction of the Lord, Pastor Diego Mesa founded Abundant Living Family Church (ALFC). The church, which began in his home in Fontana, California, and soon after moved to an elementary school cafeteria, started with 12 members and has increased considerably.

In 1995, Pastor Diego relocated the church to a business park in Rancho Cucamonga. He was able to accommodate 840 people in the sanctuary. In December of 2000, the ministry purchased this property of 5.5 acres, which contained 80,000 sq. feet of building space. With continued growth, Pastor Diego was leading five weekend services.

In December of 2007, the church moved to its new 215,000 square foot property, including a 4000-seat sanctuary and occupying 30 acres of land. The campus includes a kindergarten through twelfth grade Christian school and a school of ministry.

• We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, and the divine revelations of Jesus Christ, God's Son.

• We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and in Jesus Christ all the fullness of the Godhead dwells.

• We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, walked and ministered upon the earth; died on the cross, arose from the dead, and is now seated at the right hand of God.

• We believe salvation comes by believing with your heart and confessing with your mouth Jesus as Lord.

• We believe Jesus Christ has sent the Comforter in the person of the Holy Spirit.

• We believe the baptism of a believer in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in our witness and service.

• We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ and that we are members of His body and shall reign together with Him.
